You are invited to join the crew aboard the magnificent 90ft Schooner "Derwent Hunter" as she carries you as far away from the normal humdrum of life as you desire. Sit back, relax and be pampered and have the sailing adventure of a lifetime, on one of the last truly classical Australian trading Schooners. The "Derwent Hunter" boasts five comfortable separate cabins, with the feel of yesteryear. Join the crew and help sail, or just sit back and enjoy the magic of the Whitsundays National Park aboard one of Australia's most revered tall ships.

    What to bring:
    Light clothing (warm clothing in cooler months) hat, lot's of sunscreen, insect repellant, beach towel, favorite music, cameras and spare film if not a digital camera. Please bring all belonging's in a small soft bag. Excess luggage can be stored in Airlie Beach. Alcohol is Available On Board

    Entry and Administration Fees: Please note there is a fee levied on all passengers to cover park entry fees and administration costs. Fees are charged by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and Queensland Parks and Wildlife for entry into the Marine and National Parks and the overall fee includes these costs and our administration costs and are subject to change and are payable at check in. At the time of printing a total fee of $39 per person is recommended by the Whitsunday Charter Boat Industry Association for a 3 day 2 night cruise to cover all these costs.
