Maxi Sail/Dive Adventure.
Average age group: 18-32 years.
Broomstick was built in South Africa to win the Cape Town to Rio Yacht Race. From there she went on to compete in many of the world's most famous blue water events including the Sydney to Hobart.
As a true Maxi, she is big, comfortable and very fast. Her days of racing finished in 2000 and she was converted to charter in 2001 - but beware - her racing spirit still remains!

The Cruise: Broomstick and her multi award winning crew will take you on an unforgettable 2 day/2 night sailing adventure throughout the Whitsunday Islands. Your cruise may also include a stopover at a resort. You can participate in all activities such as diving, helping to sail a true Maxi, snorkelling, and bushwalking or simply sit back and just take it all in - the choice is yours.
The Diving: Your cruise will take you to some of the best dive sites that our region has to offer, providing experiences for beginner and expert. Introductory diving is available. If you are not certified but would like to experience the thrill of diving, highly qualified instructors will take you on an unforgettable underwater adventure.

What to bring:

Light clothing (warm clothing in cooler months) hat, lot's of sunscreen, insect repellant, beach towel, favorite music, cameras and spare film if not a digital camera. Please bring all belonging's in a small soft bag. Excess luggage can be stored in Airlie Beach. Alcohol is Bring Your Own

Environmental Marine Charge/Admin fee of $13 per person/per day is recommended by the Whitsunday Charter Boat Industry Association.

Bring alcohol in cans or cask (no glass). Soft drinks and bottled water available for purchase.
