2 Day Cape Tribulation Safari

Start your day off with a rush at the AJ Hackett Bungy site with a Bungy jump or a Minjin Swing included. As we head north to Port Douglas along one of the most scenic coastal drives in Australia, your guide will give you a great insight into the wildlife, rainforest & local culture. Before lunch, enjoy free time at Port Douglas to soak up the sun on 4 Mile Beach or explore the village shops. Next we visit the Rainforest Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary to experience up close rare rainforest fauna & flora. Travelling further north we cross Daintree River by a cable ferry & into the unique Daintree National Park which surrounds our evening accommodation. Enjoy an Aussie BBQ dinner & experience the rainforest sounds by night on a nocturnal walk in search of rainforest animals.

Day 1 - Cairns to Daintree National Park

Wake up with a walk along beautiful Cape Tribulation beach, then under the rainforest canopy we discover the nature of this ancient forest, with interpretive walks at Maardja and Jindalba. At the spectacular Alexandra Range Lookout enjoy views out over the Daintree Coast. Cruise the Daintree river searching for ‘crocs’ and other wildlife before heading into Mossman Gorge for an afternoon rainforest walk and swim. Return to your accommodation in either Port Douglas or Cairns.
